CBS' Scorpion will conclude its first season with the finale on Monday entitled "Postcards from The Edge."

When we last left Walter O'Brien, he was hanging off the edge of a cliff in his fancy new car. So, in true Scorpion style, this is thhe perfect time for he and Paige to have a heart-to-heart!

"There is a secret revealed," executive producer Nick Santora told TVLine about the season finale. "Paige does reveal how she feels about Walter."

In the last episode, "Cliffhanger," Paige and Walter got into a major fight because Paige's son, Ralph, tried to emulate Walter and ultimately put himself in mortal danger. As a result, she decided to leave Scorpion and move with her baby daddy, Drew, to Maine.

So will the confession be positive or negative? Executive producer Nick Wootton wouldn't say. "We do something that we have not done all season long - that certain fans have been waiting for - in the finale," he said. "I will not say what that is."

Of course, Walter's lack of emotion will probably get in the way, as will Drew, though Wootton assured viewers that the love triangle is more than just that.

"We've used it as a way to show Walter in the middle of a very emotional relationship for which he is not particularly so qualified," Wootton said. "We've been able to open up different facets of Walter, to show him in complications that he may never have dealt with before. That's how we've kept it fresh."

Eventually, though, there will be a payoff to all this.

"We want to keep it progressing and see them really learn to know each other, respect each other, care for each other," Santora said. "And then eventually - if we can pull it off - one day possibly fall in love with each other."
