Maroon 5 on SNL: Rockers Star in Thanksgiving-esque SNL Promo with Jeremy Renner, 'The Voice' Star Adam Levine 'Owns' NBC [VIDEO]

Maroon 5 will perform as the musical guest appearance on the Nov. 17 episode of SNL - the rockers recently starred in a three-part Thanksgiving-esque SNL promo alongside actor Jeremy Renner and funny guy Fred Armisen. This will be Maroon 5's third appearance on the hit sketch comedy show (and Adam Levine's fourth) - the band's last appearance was in November 2011. Renner, star of "The Avengers, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" and "The Bourne Legacy," will be hosting the show for the very first time.

In the 3-clip SNL promo, Armisen busts out his "pin-up" style action pose, and mocks Adam Levine's "The Voice." The SNL wise guy even ends up inviting all the boys over for a fun Thanksgiving Day feast (as long as they all do the dishes). Check it out:

A recent report in the "Reno Gazette-Journal" claims that Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine "has been making NBC his personal network." Levine is a judge on the hit NBC reality singing show "The Voice" and appeared on SNL both as a member of Maroon 5 and as a solo artist (alongside Kanye West, the two recorded the song "Heard 'Em Say" together in 2005). Levine also appeared in the "Digital Short" segment "Iran So Far."

According to "Reno Gazette-Journal" columnist Mike Hughes, "The NBC link works well. Before 'Voice,' Maroon 5 only had one single reach Billboard's top-10. This year, it's had two at No. 1 and one at No. 2 - four albums (two of them old ones) made the top 10."
