Ever since the release of the first gameplay reveal trailer for Star Wars Battlefront earlier this week, gamers that are looking forward to the title have been pretty concerned about what to expect from the new game. With plenty of other developers holding off on content, saving it for DLC releases, fans are weary that EA Games will do the same thing with Battlefront. In a new Ask Me Anything event over on Reddit, producer Jesper Nielsen of the development company addressed these concerns with new details of the game.

"I cannot stress this enough; there will be more than 8 maps! Also, the amount of content in the game has absolutely zero to do with DLC. I can say that with all honesty," the EA Games producer wrote this week, according to IGN. "As for expanding on strengths of the previous games; I think most people will find that it does expand on the strengths of the previous games, when it comes to core gameplay and what the feeling of a Battlefront game is. Just my two cents."

Nielsen went into as much detail as he could to ensure gamers that Battlefield would not hold anything back on initial release in order to make for more enticing DLC.

"Please don't make me break what I can and cannot say, but if you think there's anything we're not including in the game to save it for DLC, I can tell you you're 100% wrong. In this project, I've never heard anyone say 'Let's not do this for launch so we can do it as DLC instead'. Ever," he explained.

In other words, we should stop worrying about these DLC concerns. When it comes, we're sure the DLC will be great, but I sounds like Battlefield will already be pretty amazing before that!
