Details of what really caused the breakup between Big Sean and Ariana Grande are filtering in. According to reports, the two had been at odds for a while. Sean claims that Ariana was "immature." During one of the biggest moments of his career-an appearance at the House of Blues in West Hollywood-all of his celebrity friends were there, except his girlfriend. Ariana ditched her boyfriend to prepare for the Grammys the next day, an act that Sean found to be incredibly selfish.

Grande was also unhappy when she heard some of the lyrics from Big Sean's new track, "Stay Down." She was upset with their vulgarity and felt like they were disrespectful and embarrassing.

I ain't even gonna lie, I got a million dollar chick
With a billion dollar p****y
Every time I c*m, I swear to God I feel like I be rich

Grande's grandmother even asked her about the lyrics, which humiliated her, said a source.

But in reality, it doesn't look like Big Sean wanted the break up, even after Ariana was spotted getting cozy with Justin Beiber on stage.

"Sean was expecting Ariana to put up a huge fuss and beg him to stay, but she did the opposite. He most likely would have stayed with her if she made an effort," an insider said.

In a joint statement released earlier this week, the two gave no reason for the split and asked for privacy.

"They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends," the reps said. "We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time."

Grande then tweeted to her fans that she was doing okay after the breakup: "I love u babes so much," she wrote in a now-deleted tweet. "You're a bunch of angels, honestly. Your love/care is appreciated so much. I'm good. I promise."
