Newly engaged couple Terra Jole and Joe Gnoffo couldn't be happier with their precious baby girl, Penelope Charlevoix, but to deliver their daughter here was a miracle.

If you are a fan of the show, then you probably are still overjoyed by Joe's romantic proposal as Terra said yes. But with a child on the way things were stressful for the parents including some of the obstacles they'd face while trying to prepare for their daughter's arrival.

During labor the new parents revealed that it was hard for Terra not to see her baby when she was born via C-section.

"The nurses were taking care of her 24/7," Gnoffo, 39, revealed to People. The new father made sure he took plenty of photos of his daughter when she was born for Terra to see. "She had a bunch of tubes in her, an IV, her sugar was low, stuff like that. It was really hard on Terra not being able to see her."

Baby Penelope was in intensive care for three days after she was born.

When it was time to go home both parents, Joe and Terra had some issues trying to get their newborn into the car correctly.

"We couldn't get the baby in the car alone in the beginning," Terra revealed. "It was, 'I'll pass her to you, and you put her in.' The stroller, we were like 'Right, left ... okay, go.' I was worried just coming home."

They even found old items in their home to help them out with caring for their daughter.

"An extra mattress in Penelope's bassinet" seems to help out the parents. "It was too deep and I couldn't get in there to get her," Gnoffo revealed, as they now use an old TV stand for a changing table.

"We expected these things being of our stature, but we didn't realize we'd have so many modifications until we got home," Jole says.

As for sleep, baby P hasn't learned a schedule yet, she's too busy wanting to play with her mother.

"[She was getting up] every two hours," Terra said. "Now it's every three hours, but she's also staying awake a lot longer, so when she wakes up in the middle of the night, she's like 'It's play time!' "

In the new show, Terra's Little Family, Terra got some good parenting tips from her fellow Little Women LA cast mates, and other friends.

MStars News previously learned that the new parents were a little scared of opening their new life up to the world.

"She just happens to be a little person," Penelope's father said. "Other than that, she's going to be able to do whatever she wants. When you're a kid, it's the end of the world when someone makes fun of you. I just want her to be confident."

"I want her to feel like it's okay to be different," Terra declared.

"We were so blessed to have a miracle," Terra confessed. "We're super fortunate to have her and each other," her soon-to-be husband replied. "She is a little angel and that's the perfect way to put it."

The new parents left their daughter a video message the night before she was born so that she could watch it in the future.

"We haven't met you yet, we get to meet you tomorrow and we're more then you know excited," Terra said in the video clip. "Just know whenever you watch this that we love you," Joe added. "You're brought into love and no matter what we love you more than anyone else in this entire world," Terra finished.

An all new episode airs Wednesday, at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
