According to an exclusive, feature-length ID documentary "My Brother the Serial Killer" (which premieres on Wednesday, Nov. 21), an "unknown" serial killer by the name of Glen Rogers was Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman's real murderer, not the infamous O.J. Simpson. Although one of America's "least known" serial killers, Rogers shockingly murdered between 70-80 people, and according to his brother Clay (who fully cooperated with documentary producers), he is definitely the man who truly murdered O.J. Simpson's ex-wife and her friend in 1994.
ID's new documentary examines the life and crimes of Glen Rogers through the eyes of police, prosecutors, and family members -most notably his brother Clay Rogers, who taught Glen the arts of stealing at a very young age. Clay was the one who ultimately turned his brother into authorities when he discovered a decomposing body in the family's cabin in Hamilton, Minnesota. Glen Rogers was later put on trial and convicted of killing two women in 1995. He was later sent to death row and is believed to have murdered at least a total of 50 individuals.
At one point in 1994 (before being ousted as a cold-blooded killer) Glen called relatives from a construction site that he was working at and claimed that he was "partying" with a woman in Los Angeles named Nicole Brown Simpson. He said that she was rich and that he was "going to take her down." Simpson and Goldman's murdered bodies were found not too long afterwards (not to mention that the construction site Rogers was working at was very close to the location of the murders).According to reports, Rogers actually admitted to a criminal profiler after being sentenced to death row for a number of other murders that he had killed Simpson and Goldman. The upcoming documentary describes how Rogers knew things about the murders that only a firsthand witness could have known (including a step-by-step description of the exact sequence of the killings, which had initially mind-boggled prosecutors and cops).
And it turns out that Simpson (who was acquitted in the "Trail of the Century" in 1997), actually knew the killer. So why didn't he bring this up in court? Apparently because the former football star paid Rogers to break into Nicole Simpson's home to steal a $20,000 pair of earrings. Rogers claims Simpson also told him to kill "the bi##h" if necessary.
According to Clay Rogers, Glen had a very troubling childhood (living with half a dozen other siblings). But to grow up and kill maybe 50, 70, 80 people? What do Mstarz readers think about the allegations made in "My Brother the Serial Killer?"
