After months of feuding with his family and a prolonged absence from social media, Rob Kardashian resurfaced on Twitter on Friday to share some heartwarming, encouraging words for his stepfather Bruce Jenner as he transitions from a man to woman. "You have always been a role model to me and now more than ever, I love you," he wrote on Twitter. "LOVE YOU!!!!"

Kardashian posted his tweets just twenty minutes after Jenner's 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer aired on TV. Hours earlier during the East Coast showing of the interview, he retweeted other's celebrities' support.

It’s a rare public message from the only Kardashian who seems to actively avoid the spotlight.

In a clip from Keeping Up With The Kardashians, a tearful Kris Jenner met with a life coach and vented about her concerns for her son.

“He’s gained over 100 pounds in the last year,” Kris said. “He’s missed Christmas, he missed Kim’s wedding.”

In a clip from an interview with Matt Lauer, Kim Kardashian opens up about her brother’s struggles.

“I think he’s just going through a phase where he’s not comfortable in his own skin,” Kim says. “And he is working really hard to get back to where he used to be.”

However, she doesn’t think that Rob’s problems are due to being part of a very famous family at all.

"I don't necessarily think it's because of the fame," she explained. "I think it's been circumstances in his life that he just really hasn't dealt with. Whether it's, you know, the loss of our father, or certain breakups, or, you know, he was extremely close to Lamar [Odom] and when, you know, Khloe and him broke up, that was really hard on him. So I think it was a couple things."

Ever the worrier, his mother has gone so far as to fear for his life. “I feel like if I don't help him do something drastic, that he's gonna die,” she said on a recent episode of KUWTK.
