The New England Patriots vs. New York Jets battle it out on the turf at MetLife Stadium on Thursday, Nov. 22 (Thanksgiving day) at 8:20 p.m. E.T. in week 12 of the NFL regular season. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Thanksgiving day football game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
This is the second time in the 2012 NFL regular season that the Patriots and Jets have met on the turf (New England proved victorious in week 7, winning a close battle with a score of 29-26). The Pats go into week 12 at the no 4 spot in ESPN's power rankings, with seven wins and three losses. According to the Bleacher Report, "Losing [tight end] Rob Gronkowski will hurt the Patriots offense, but probably not as much as most people are expecting. The system in place is far more important than any single player. Tom Brady will find ways to move the chains without him in the short term." Meanwhile the Jets snag the no 23 spot with four wins and six losses - "The big story has been Mark Sanchez managing to maintain the starting job over Tim Tebow [quarterbacks]. In reality, it should be the team's inability to stop the run. The Jets have a lot of issues to address" (Bleacher Report).
The game will be broadcasted live on NBC, but fans can also listen in on the radio at ESPN 98.7 FM or 98.5 The Sports Hub, or on Sirius radio channels 92/93.
