DC Entertainment has released a hot streak of momentous, special-sized #40 issues from their best-selling titles. Nothing will ever be the same in DC Comics' New 52 as major twists take place in the pulse-pounding new installments of Batman #40, Justice League #40, and Superman #40.

Writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo delivered a frightening version of The Joker and his scarred new face in the critically acclaimed Death of the Family. In the follow-up sequel, Endgame, the clown prince of crime unleashed his Joker virus upon everyone in Gotham City. In order to save a city full of grinning maniacs, the Dark Knight himself has to have the ultimate showdown with The Joker to get his hands on the cure.

MIni-Review: This critic has been collecting the Endgame issues and not one installment disappoints. I swear, the last pages of this issue will give you feels.

Are you a fan of The Flash, the TV series starring Grant Gustin and Jesse L. Martin? If you love what the show has done with Geoff Johns' Flashpoint run, then you're going to love his take with the Justice League series. Artist Jason Fabok joins Johns in the prologue to The Darkseid War, as the Justice League has to face off against the two of the most powerful entities in the DC Universe.

MIni-Review: You can't go wrong with Johns, or Fabok either.

Writer/artist John Romita, Jr. delivers an exciting installment as Superman continues to make surprising discoveries about his newfound power. What started out as an extension of his heat vision, will the Man of Steel find himself as the League's own threat if he cannot control his new power?

Mini-Review: The eye-catching opening pages are a laugh-riot and the witty humor comes from the person you least suspect.

As a bonus, in Multiversity #2, writer Grant Morrison and artist Ivan Reis bring readers the final chapter of their mind-blowing superhero adventure. The final fates of the mystic hero Super Demon, the nightmare henchmen known as The Gentry and Nix Uotan, the Super-God will be decided in their last battle.

Mini-Review: Morrison goes all out when he delivers an epic finale!

Batman #40, Justice League #40, and Superman #40, along with Multiversity #2, are out in stores now.
