CW's 'The Flash' Spoilers: Twitter Reacts To Grant Gustin, Candice Patton's Iris West-Allen!

The countdown has begun as the final 3 episodes of The Flash arrives on the CW network. While the truth behind The Reverse-Flash was finally revealed, Twitter had lots to say about Barry Allen (Grant Gustin)'s discovery about the future Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton).

In our previous recap, Eddie (Rick Cosnett) was framed by the Everyman, who pretended to be him in a police shootout. While the Everyman confused the Flash and kept changing faces, Cisco (Carlos Valdes), Joe (Jesse L. Martin), and Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) discovered the rotten corpse of the Harrison Wells. After capturing Everyman and clearing Eddie from charges, Barry and his friends discovered the secret lair and the Reverse-Flash suit.

In our recent recap, Cisco, Caitlin (Danielle Panaker), and Barry discovered the Reverse-Flash's Time Vault, which revealed the scarlet speedster's future. Caitlin recognized the name of the newspaper article and pointed out, Iris West-Allen. Barry is destined to one day marry the love of his life, but Eddie has plans of his own to propose to Iris. Just as the Reverse-Flash kidnapped Eddie, Iris discovered the man behind the red suit is really Barry.

As E! Online puts it perfectly, "This was the episode we've been waiting for: to see Iris transform from being a reactive damsel in distress, constantly in need of 'protection' from all the male authority figures in her life, to becoming a proactive hero in her own right, working to uncover the truth and do something about it. It was everything we wanted and more!"
