This week, Yahoo premiered a brand new poster for the highly anticipated movie Terminator: Genisys (which has a July 1, 2015 release date) and it has us a little confused. Was one of the film's biggest spoilers revealed in a promotional image? What's up with John Connor in this franchise reboot? Well, if you don't want to see a spoiler for this new movie, we suggest you look elsewhere-otherwise, check out a huge spoiler for this upcoming film below! (SPOILERS TO FOLLOW)

According to Slash Film, the most recent trailer for this highly anticipated film revealed a spoiler about Jason Clarke's version of John Connor, which would definitely change everything we know about the character.

Connor is the leader of the resistance against the robots taking out the human race ... or is he? You can check out this new poster below to see what we're talking about.

So what are we looking at? Well, Connor is clearly a robot in this new image, making us believe that an altered past has made him the enemy rather than the hero. This is a strange twist, but also a very big one that we might not have seen coming. But if this is shown to us in a trailer and a poster, should we really think of it as a spoiler? Perhaps this isn't such a huge reveal about Genisys and it's merely a plot point!

While we consider this, you can check out the latest trailer for Terminator: Genisys, which also features the above spoiler.

Do you think this ruins the upcoming blockbuster? Will you still head to theaters this summer to watch the latest chapter of this franchise? Let us know what you think of this possible spoiler in the comments section below!
