WWE Rumors: Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon Update, King of the Ring News

The latest round of WWE rumors deals with Ronda Rousey, Stephanie McMahon, King of the Ring, and more. As always, these are just rumors, so please treat them as such.

Rousey appeared in a segment with The Rock, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 31, which led fans to speculate about a possible match between Stephanie and Ronda or a mixed tag team match featuring the four at WrestleMania 32. But UFC president Dana White then commented that Rousey was "one and done" with WWE.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE was rather shocked at White's comments because they have believed that Rousey vs. McMahon was set for WrestleMania 32, even to the point that the company has apparently already made promotional video packages for the fight. There was apparently even a plan for Stephanie to tease the fight on the Live with Chris Jericho podcast on the WWE Network on Thursday night after SmackDown. Regardless, WWE apparently still believes the match will occur.

The King of the Ring tournament that finished on Tuesday is apparently part of an effort by WWE to air more live specials during SmackDown tapings on Tuesday nights.

The voting on Monday Night Raw for the Payback main event was apparently legitimate, as former WWE writer Kevin Eck has posted that all app votes are on the up and up. The main event will be a Triple Threat match among Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Speaking of Rollins, the Curb Stomp was apparently banned after advice from WWE's legal team, according to the Observer.
