As the Late Show with David Letterman winds down its final days, ending this coming May 20 (for good!), host David Letterman is bringing in some very heavy names to wish him farewell. He already welcomed in Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee host Jerry Seinfeld, and now he's ready for more. One of whom happens to be the President of the United States, President Barack Obama. The Leader of the Free World will make his final Late Show appearance this coming Monday, May 4.

The President has been on the Late Show a couple of times before his appearance this Monday. Actually, it'll be his third appearance as President, but his eighth overall time sitting next to Letterman at the famed Ed Sullivan Theater, according to reports from Deadline.

FLOTUS Michelle Obama stopped by Letterman's set last week for a panel, and told the iconic comedian that the two should "hang out together" when all is said and done with CBS.

She further joked that they could "do things."

"I would help you raise your children. I can help you through dark times," she further joked.

To which Letterman commented, "All the problems will be for the stepfather."

Take a look at Michelle Obama's recent Letterman interview below:

Before this Late Show appearance, President Obama was recently spotted out at the White House Correspondents Dinner, which was hosted by Saturday Night Live's very own Cecily Strong.

Letterman's replacement, Stephen Colbert, will kick off his version of the Late Show on Sept. 8.
