Poor Patrick Dempsey! The one-time heartthrob of Grey's Anatomy has been having a pretty tough last couple of months. Not only is the star going through a pretty public divorce from his wife, Jillian Fink, but he was also fired from his hit ABC medical drama after 11 long seasons of work, and it looks like now he is selling his house, maybe to pay some of his bills? That's right, the Malibu home that Dempsey shared with his ex has been put on the market for $14.5 million.

According to Radar Online, the actor filed for divorce from his wife of more than 15 years, claiming that there were irreconcilable differences between the two of them. While the couple might be sad to part ways with the California residency, they will be making a pretty penny on the house. After buying it for $7 million back in 2009, the couple is looking to double their profit.

Dempsey told Architectural Digest that it was the simplicity of the house that first attracted him to it.

"We were looking for a little land and space, and a house with some architectural significance," the star explained. "The exterior's simplicity appealed to me and the inside felt very expansive and calming."

The house might not be for a large family, as it only boasts three bedrooms, but the grounds that are far more appealing. With a backyard that has a pool, climbing wall, fire pit, and pizza oven, we think that anyone would be happy here. Not only that, but for the horse lovers, there is a barn on the premises, as well as a vegetable garden.

If we had $14.5 million, we would definitely be looking to take this off the market.
