Avengers: Age of Ultron star Jeremy Renner made a stopover on last night's CONAN to discuss the new film. Though, honestly, he really didn't have to considering all the success it has been obtaining after just one weekend of being released. But when he was recently interviewed and quoted calling Scarlett Johannson's character Black Widow a "slut," the Internet got a wee bit pissed off...

So maybe that's the real reason he stopped by Conan O'Brien's TBS program.

"What I like about you," O'Brien said during the interview, "is you're very unguarded when you talk, when you're talking to the press you'll say all kinds of stuff. And you'll go for [the] joke."

The TBS host then noted Renner's recent interview in which he called Black Widow a "slut." He then asked him to elaborate on that comment.

To that, Renner noted that it was a joke, "off-colored, whatever."

"I got in a lot of Internet trouble," Renner said. "I guess that's a thing now you can get in..."

He then joked that after being asked about Black Window's link to Iron Man, Bruce Banner, Hawkeye and Captain America, he couldn't help but think it "sounds like she's a slut."

Check out part of Renner's interview on CONAN below:

Readers, what did you think of Renner's comments – on both Black Widow being a slut and his elaborate "explanation" of it on CONAN?
