It is Cinco de Mayo, folks! Now, while most of you may not care about the true meaning of the holiday – largely because the Americanized version of it is merely a celebration of drinking ... much like St. Patrick's Day – we hope you don't' mind a little history lesson. Aside from eating some killer Mexican food, the holiday of Cinco de Mayo is celebrated to remember the Mexican resistance against French imperialism.

See, that wasn't so bad, right?

Now, let's take a look at the top five meals to eat on Cinco de Mayo – because, seriously, we're hungry.

5. Margaritas
Okay, no, this isn't a food. But let's be honest – margaritas are probably the most popular drink being ordered today. That, and tequila straight up. But hey, if they're frozen, you can chew the ice! Which, of course, means they are food.
