On a recent episode of "Live with Kelly and Michael," popular country songstress Dolly Parton appeared on a mock segment entitled "Dishing with Dolly," where former NFL star Michael Strahan asked if it would be appropriate for him to either refer to the 66-year-old starlet as "Double D" or "Dr. Dolly." Parton immediately shot down both nicknames, but found the humor in Strahan's entertaining suggestions and managed to laugh along with Kelly Ripa and the live audience. Of course, Strahan's nicknames were an attempt at flattery - one referring to Parton's recently receiving an honorary doctorate from the University of Tennessee and the other idolizing her rather well-endowed and ample figure.

After discovering that Parton recently received an honorary doctorate, Strahan innocently asked, "So now that you have your doctorate, do we call you 'Dr. Dolly' or 'Double D'?" Parton quickly denied both names and the audience broke out into a fit of giggles, which prompted Strahan to quickly exclaim, "It's an innocent question!" So yes, Parton has a good sense of humor - but no, she would rather not be referred to as "Dr. Dolly" or "Double D." Dolly Parton, the Queen of Country Music, works just fine.

Check out a clip of the interview below, where Ripa and Strahan treat Parton to a game of "rapid fire questions." The entire exchange is quite hilarious, with Parton admitting that "they aren't real" (referring to her nails, of course), her favorite color is Clairol No. 249 (referring to the hair dye), and that the first thing she does when she wakes up in the morning is "get up, put on my clothes and go home" (and yes, she's actually truthfully used that answer in the past). Parton is currently out promoting her new memoir, "Dream More."

And as for the rumors that Parton is a lesbian with longtime friend Judy Ogle - well, that's just not true. Parton compared their close friendship to that of Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King - "Like Gayle, her friend, Judy, my friend, they just think that you just can't be that close to somebody. Judy and I have been best friends since we were like in the third and fourth grade ... We still just have a great friendship and relationship and I love her as much as I love anybody in the whole world, but we're not romantically involved" (Nightline).
