Gigi Hadid, Cody Simpson Split: 'RHOBH' Star & Musician Break Up For Second Time

Did you hear that? It's the sound of a million tween hearts breaking, as Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson have called off their relationship for the second time. That's right, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her musician boyfriend have decided to call it quits on their love, shortly after getting back together in the fall of 2014. While they have been the "it couple" for the last few years, it seems that they are just breaking things off to focus on their separate careers.

That's right, according to Radar Online, Gigi wants to continue to build her fashion brand, while Simpson wants to continue focusing on his music career.

A rep for Hadid confirmed the news to People, saying that while they are no longer together, they are still remaining friends.

"Cody and Gigi want each other to be in place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career," the rep explained.

However, the breakup news does come with a little silver lining, as the rep said the former lovebirds have the hopes that they will get back together in the future.

"They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future," the insider revealed.

The plans of reconciling in the future are definitely possible, as the news site reports that they are just as supportive of each other as ever.

"They remain friends with no hard feelings and each other's biggest supporters," the rep concluded.
