Following Angus T Jones' recent "Two and a Half Men" meltdown (where he urged fans to stop watching such comedic "filth"), former co-star Charlie Sheen has offered the 19-year-old actor a spot on his own new FX comedy, "Anger Management." Since both Jones and Sheen are so avidly "disgusted" by "Two and a Half Men" (the infamous 47-year-old Hollywood playboy also made some harsh comments about the show and was promptly fired from his hit role as Charlie Harper last year), maybe it'd be the right thing for both actors to release such animosity together on "Anger Management."
Sheen recently told ABC News, "My former nephew is welcome at the Goodson Anger Management home anytime." After starring on "Two and a Half Men" for eight whole seasons, Warner Bros. banned the Hollywood bad-boy from the set after filming was delayed due to Sheen's derogatory comments made against series creator Chuck Lorre. After a few stints in rehab and a demand for a 50 percent raise, the "highest paid actor on television" was dismissed from "Two and a Half Men" and replaced by heartthrob Ashton Kutcher. Sheen still does not have any kind words for the show's production or creators. He insists "Two and a Half Men" is a "hive of oppression."
And it looks like Jones is next in line to bash his work on "Two and a Half Men." The young actor recently joined the Seventh-Day Adventist church and posted a video interview with church advisor Christopher Hudson on YouTube. During the "The Testimony of the Awakening of a star" interview, Jones talks faith, religion, and how "Two and a Half Men" is complete filth. Check it out:
"If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men,'" Jones pleads to fans. "I'm on 'Two and a Half Men,' and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it, please stop filling your head with filth" (read more on the story here).
Soon after the video became viral, Jones offered an official apology (considering he does get paid $350k per episode) - "Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on 'Two and a Half Men' with whom I have worked over the past ten years and who have become an extension of my family."
Even so, Sheen would love his former co-star to join his own cast on "Anger Management" (the second series debuts in January 2013). According to the "Major League" actor, "Two and a Half Men" is definitely "cursed" (and Jones' viral tirade was similar to a "Hale-Bopp-like meltdown").
It looks like Jones' character on "Two and a Half Men" is slowly dwindling away anyway (Jake Harper has joined the Army, and he's rarely present in the current season 10), so maybe the "filth television-bashing" actor will take Sheen up on his offer?
