George Zimmerman has managed to make it back into the headlines. MStars News has learned that the former neighborhood watchman who killed Trayvon Martin was involved in another shooting. Reports claim that his face sustained injuries, but was he hit with a bullet?

According to The Independent, Zimmerman suffered minor injuries after he barley missed a bullet to the head, being shot near the face in a road rage dispute on Monday in Lake Mary Florida.

The police department tweeted: "LMPD has responding to a shooting involving George Zimmerman. More information to follow."

After multiple reports claimed that Zimmerman was shot in the face, Attorney Don West revealed to the AP that he was sprayed with glass for his vehicle's windshield. As later reports backed up that story claiming that Zimmerman's injuries may have come from shattered glass from the shot fired through the passenger side window.

"He walked normally into the ambulance, so he wasn't being helped or nothing," Ricardo Berrare, a witness to the shooting reported. Zimmerman is still a big name after he won a controversial acquittal back in 2012 for the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. This time Zimmerman did not fire a weapon, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
