Eminem New Album HOAX Sparks Rihanna Twitter Love, Surprise 'R8' Collaboration Release Date Mystery? Rap vs. Rock Band Battle Mayhem [POLL]

As MstarsNews previously reported, an unconfirmed report recently shared by the seedy gossip webloid ThyBlackMan.com claims that the MMLP2 emcee will "surprise" fans with the upcoming premiere of Detroit Riot - a group of metal headbangers:

"Over the past few years, Eminem has been really focused on becoming a great bass player. With many of his songs having heavy bass, he was naturally drawn to the sound," an alleged snitch explains. "When he isn't working on Eminem projects, he spends hours practicing scales and taking pointers from his friends in the industry... He enjoys expressing himself through sound from time to time instead of having to come up with lyrics. In some ways it has become therapeutic for him."

Funny thing is, such rumors have yet to blow-up online. In fact, the "Berzerk" superstar hasn't posted any relavent teasers on his official Instagram in over three weeks. Plus, the band's "first single" entitled "Rock Detroit" is supposedly already available on iTunes Yeah, not true.

Still, several Twitter fans do continue hyping a new album featuring the infamous "Rap God." But such tweets really have nothing to do with rock 'n' roll - loyal #Stans just want Shady back!

@SchamaNoel: "If Eminem were to tweet 'If you get a 4.0 this semester, I'll drop a new album,' Imagine how many grades would go up like yo the influence."

@Douglasmarshhal: "Excited for Eminem's new album."

@chryztiee: "Oh Mr. #MarshallMathers I'm really hoping 4 a NEW solo album! Your blessed with the talent... Us peeps gots to have it! @Eminem Much Luv."

@VEminem17: "I don't want Eminem to make a 'soundtrack album,' i want him to make new SOLO album, he already released a compilation album (ShadyXV)."

‏@emine_m_m: "RT if you can't wait for Eminem's new album... What do y'all think [the] name would be?"

‏@britbritsslave: "I need a new eminem album [prayer hands]."

Well, no updates of a "surprise" solo release yet, but these awesome Tech N9ne and Yelawolf collaborations will do for now!

But does a fresh rock career at least SOUND somewhat interesting?
