Season 10 of Bones continues with The Murder in the Middle East on FOX. In Episode 17 and Episode 18, while working out their differences, will Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) be able to save Arastoo Vaziri (Pej Vahdat)?

As we previously mentioned, the Jeffersonian team lost a longtime member, while welcoming a new addition at the same time. The tenth season premiere started with a major shocker as Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley) met with a horrible death while trying to clear Booth's name. The mourning period began with Sweets' funeral and the introduction to his successor, FBI Agent James Aubrey (John Boyd).

According to TV Guide, Arastoo is kidnapped by a member of the Iranian parliament to help him with a murder case. Booth and Cam (Tamara Taylor) travel to the Middle East to expose the killer before it's too late for Arastoo. Meanwhile, Brennan is concerned about Booth's gambling, asking for Aubrey to protect her and Christine from Booth's bookie.

In an interview with TV Line,  executive producer Stephen Nathan reveals Booth's gambling addiction will affect team itself, "So the stories dovetail and later on, it dovetails with Cam and Arastoo's story where Arastoo has a brother who seems to be dying in Iran and he goes back to Iran to help his brother. Now, he was forced to leave the country so it's very dangerous for him to go back. While Booth and Cam go back in another episode to Iran to bring Arastoo home, the gambling story really comes home to roost for Brennan. We follow this through the rest of the season, and it's a tremendous strain and a danger to their relationship and something which really there's no resolution to. It's an ongoing issue for them."

As for Cam and Arastoo, Nathan adds, "Well, they really are talking about it now. This is something that, next season, will be addressed in a very major way."

Bones has been renewed for Season 11, with Jonathan Collier and Michael Peterson taking over as show runner for Nathan, who will rerun by midseason.

Bones continues Thursdays at 8pm on Fox.
