The latest round of WWE rumors deals with Seth Rollins' reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan's injury, Samoa Joe, and the live special NXT Takeover: Unstoppable. Let's get right to it but, as always, these are just rumors, so please treat them as such.

The current plan, according to the latest reports, is for Seth Rollins to retain his title at Payback this Sunday against Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Randy Orton and to carry the belt into SummerSlam in August. Recall that reports say the plan there is for a Triple Threat with Rollins, Reigns, and a returning Brock Lesnar. It's worth noting, however, that the low ratings for Monday Night Raw during Rollins' tenure has champion has not inspired complete confidence in his ability as a top star, if you choose to believe this rumor.

Next, PW Insider reported that former Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan was scheduled for Payback and a few TV tapings next week, but it appears now that WWE has pulled Bryan from all scheduled appearances and he will not return until either he is healthy and read to return to action or he needs to promote his upcoming book.

Another rumor says that indie star Samoa Joe has signed a two-year deal with WWE and that he will make an appearance at the NXT Takeover: Unstoppable live event on Wednesday, possibly at the end of the main event, which is an NXT Championship match between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

On the subject of NXT, reports say morale within the developmental organization is incredibly high and WWE executives are thrilled with the brand's Philadelphia house shows. Moreover, those execs are apparently coming around on the idea of NXT serving as a brand to compete with the main WWE product.

Finally, Big Show is apparently returning to television next week.
