Katy Perry Lashes On Demand: Launches Faux Eyelash Line, Honored with Trevor Hero Award

Pop sensation Katy Perry has launched a new line of faux eyelashes called Katy Perry Color POP Lashes by Eylure.

The package has some awesome pop art of Perry's likeness. The products come in bold shades like blue, purple and peacock green and have names like Ka-Pow! and Ka-Boom! The products cost $7.99 and are available at Claire's.  

The strip lashes and one set of individual lashes were designed personally by Perry, E! Online reported.

Katy Perry's Popchips Flavors

Meanwhile, Perry is also testing out her own flavor of Popchips, E! Online reported.

The report showed Perry testing the ingredients that will possibly be the Perry perfected flavor of Popchips. The flavor will be revealed mid-January.

Trevor Hero Award

Meanwhile, Perry received the Trevor Hero Award for her support of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) given by The Trevor Project, Dec. 2. She was awarded for empowering youth and increasing the visibility and understanding of tue LGBTQ community.

"I am so proud to be honored by The Trevor Project as a Trevor Hero," said Perry, after being honored with Trevor Hero Award, Look to the Stars reported. "I hope all LGBTQ youth know that they are as valuable as anyone else, that they are amazing and unique, and make the world a more vibrant place. Trevor's life-saving, life-affirming work helps youth find the future they deserve. I want every young person to choose to have a tomorrow and to dream for the future."

Perry continued, "And if they don't get to hear it enough, I hope they know that they can pick up the phone to call the Trevor Lifeline, or log on and talk to someone on TrevorChat. It's okay to ask for help. You are worth it. Make a pledge to yourself to get help if you need it, because we need you in our lives."

Not a Feminist

Katy Perry said she was not a feminist while accepting Billboard's 2012 Woman of the Year Award, Nov. 30.

"I am not a feminist, but I do believe in the strength of women," said Perry, Billboard Tweeted.
