Over the last few years, Aaron Hernandez has been on a consistent streak of violence that reaches well past his time on a football field. First there were the murder charges. Now, despite being in prison, Hernandez still finds ways to get in trouble. Recently, the former New England Patriots player agreed to be a lookout for a fellow inmate who brawled in the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center. Reports claim that the fight was gang related. It's unknown whether Hernandez belonged to either of the gangs.

All three men in the fight were disciplined over the fight and Hernandez was placed in a special management section of the prison. Christopher Fallon, the spokesman for the Massachusets Department of Corrections, claims that he isn't allowed to divulge any information regarding the brawl Hernandez overlooked.

This wasn't Hernandez's first prison fight either. While he was awaiting the ruling for his murder charge, he was involved in a fight in Bristol County jail. For the February fight, he was charged with assault and battery.

Hernandez was sentenced to two life sentences for murdering Odin Lloyd and another individual back in April. With the charges, Hernandez's promising NFL career and life officially came to an end. Patriots Safety Devin McCourty was broken up by the charges.

"It was just saddening," McCourty said. "You talk about two lives being gone. Like everyone else, you look at the whole thing as just a saddening event, everything that went on."

Patriots Special Teamer Matthew Slater was also broken up by the charges.

"That's a very tragic, sad situation for so many different people, for so many different reasons. I just feel like we all should keep everybody involved affected by that situation in our prayers and thoughts. You know, that's really all I'll say on that," Slater said.
