Bernie Sanders has a fantastic idea for anybody looking toward a higher education. The presidential candidate believes our current education system is a "national disgrace." Sanders hopes that America can have a future where students aren't burdened with an incomparable amount of debt before ever stepping into their first full time job. It's because of this that Sanders this week unveiled a bill that would get rid of tuition in four-year public colleges and universities. The College for All Act also looks to expand work-study programs for students currently burdened by a tremendous amount of debt which totals to more than a trillion dollars nationally.

During a press conference, Sanders said American students drowning in $1.2 trillion in debt is "unacceptable."

"We have to make sure that every qualified American in this country who has the ability and desire to go to college is able to go to college, regardless of the income of his or her family," he said. "It is totally unacceptable that Americans are drowning in $1.2 trillion in student loan debt."

If the College for All Act passes, then the United States would join Brazil, Chile, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Slovenia and Sweden as countries that offer their youth free tuition. The bill would cost the United States $750 billion over a decade and that money would come from another proposed bill by Sanders called the Robin Hood Tax. This would impose a .5% tax on stock trades, .1% percent fee on bonds and a .005% fee on derivatives trading.

"It is unacceptable that millions of college graduates cannot afford to buy their first home or their first car because of the outrageously high interest rates they are paying on student debt," Sanders continued.

Would you be for Sanders' bill to make college free for all students?
