'Bachelorette' Elimination Chris Soules Weighs in on Kaitlyn Bristowe & Britt Nilsson Season Shock

While the new season of The Bachelorette just started, fans were forced to pick their favorites a lot sooner than past seasons. However, this year came with a twist; we had to pick our favorite girl, as Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe were forced to compete for the attention of the guys. In the end, Bristowe pulled out the win, but much to the dismay of some of the contestants and to some viewers. The split makes us wonder what team were other fans on. Were they team Kaitlyn, or team Britt? Well Chris Soules, who got the chance to date both girls, weighed in on the controversy during the Dancing With the Stars finale last night.

According to E! News, while Chris Soules is a fan of both the women, he feels that Kaitlyn will lead the show to a more lighthearted season.

"I'm glad Kaitlyn is going to have that opportunity," the former Bachelor star explained. "They both deserve that opportunity, but Kaitlyn's fun. She's fun to watch. She's hilarious."

While former competitors on the ABC love series might have called the decision to have two leading ladies "disgusting," Soules says he doesn't blame the producers for the twist.

"It makes somewhat good TV," the star said. "It's just awkward."

As for Soules' love life, he and finacee Whitney Bischoff are still going strong, as he posted a picture of his mom and dad posing with Whitney in an Instagram picture from the finale last night.
