Will rapper Lil Wayne outshine DJ Kaskade behind the remix booth? Nah!

According to the popular record producer, this "celebrity deejay" hype is just a fad. As MstarsNews previously reported, Weezy will team-up with Wiz Khalifa to offer such "VIP" services (but for a VERY high price).

Apparently, fans will not see the highly-anticipated release of Wayne's new The Carter V album anytime soon. Since the YMCMB superstar has yet to resolve his bitter feud with Cash Money Records mogul Birdman, he now continues focusing his energy on other projects. Some #FWA supporters are not amused:

@SHAWNHINDRIIX: "LIL WAYNE A DJ NOW? LOL."

@CJLango: "Lil Wayne needs to drop his new album! #FWA."

@Dysart_Jr: "Idc if Lil Wayne's a DJ or not, but he better drop dat FWA before he turn any tables..."

@BTetelo: "Things worth having are worth waiting for, I guess I have to wait for WEEZY F to drop the #FWA & THE CARTER V #D6... all worth it."

@BIGNOAH256: "We never getting another Lil Wayne anything it feels like. #FWA supposed to been in my inbox.

But Kaskade seems to insinuate that Weezy won't make it as a deejay - "real" professionals shouldn't worry about it:

The Chicago native doesn't necessarily "diss" Wayne's latest passion, but he obviously doesn't take it very seriously either.

But as the popular gossip webloid TMZ points out, Kaskade shouldn't feel threatened. He typically makes about $250,000 per gig (or more). Successful celebrity DJs... what a silly thought!

Do readers agree, or will Kaskade's "laugh-off" simply spark another epic industry feud? Sound-off in the comments section below!
