Alternative Rock Band Coldplay has already begun working on their next album NME reported.

There were rumors that Coldplay would by going away from the music scene for three years. These rumors have been laid to rest now.

Chris Martin, the lead singer had suggested that the band would be going on a break to an audience in Australia, recently. But he has clarified that he only meant that they would not be doing any world tours but he revealed that he is already working on writing songs for their next album. He also said that he was stimulated by the success of their last album "Mylo Xyloto" in an interview with Daily Star.

"I've been writing songs and I'm so fired up about the band's future."

"I'm fortunate to do what I do and no way do I want to stop. This three-year break idea only came about because I said at a gig in Australia that we might not be back there for three years. That's probably true, but that's just how a world tour works. No chance are we taking a three-year break," he added.

Coldplay's last album "Mylo Xyloto" was released in 2011. Coldplay fans had requested the band to keep a name that will be easier to pronounce and Martin had told 2dayfm, "The next one we're releasing is much easier to pronounce."

Martin and guitarist Jonny Buckland declined to reveal the name of their upcoming album, saying "I can't tell you that."

Meanwhile, Coldplay have raised more than 500,000 pounds ($805,750) for charity. They sold off an artwork of their album "Mylo Xyloto." The work was collaboration with street artist Paris. The charity will help kids who are at risk.

Matin will be raising more money for the victims of superstorm Sandy in New York City.
