The mystery/suspense drama, Wayward Pines, from The Sixth Sense director, M. Night Shyamalan continues on Fox. In Episode 2, will agent Ethan Burke (Matt Dillion) discover why Kate Hewson (Carla Gugino) has been missing and started living her strange new life?

In our previous recap, Secret Service agent Ethan Burke (Dillon) was in the middle of an investigation when his car was suddenly hit by a truck. Outside of Wayward Pines, Ethan's wife Theresa (Shannyn Sossamon) is wondering why her husband has gone missing. Waking up, Ethan finds himself trapped in a strange town where anyone could either be an ally or enemy.

When Ethan suddenly finds a familiar face, an ex lover, Kate (Gugino), he asks if he's having a relapse just like before. Ethan isn't sure if he's being manipulated or if he really is suffering a mental breakdown.

According to TV Line, a new video has been released. In the footage Ethan pays a visit to the quaint toy store, where Kate and her husband Harold (Reed Diamond) work at. Because she told him before, "They are watching," Ethan wants to know more and has a few questions for got Kate and their dead Secret Service agent.

In an interview with Variety, showrunner/executive producer Chad Hodge reveals how he adapted the books by Blake Crouch for television, "Well, I got the first book before it was published - maybe two, three months before - from a producer and read the book in one day and completely flipped out. I turned those pages as fast as I could and immediately knew that I had to turn it into a show. I was so grabbed by the single-player storytelling, I kind of like to call it. You're really with Matt Dillion's character, Ethan, and you're feeling the experience of coming into this town with him and you're kind of really in his head. People stare at him as he interacts with this crazy nurse and this crazy sheriff - why isn't anybody talking to him? So it's really almost like you're in his head and I felt the same way when I was reading the book."
