Arrow fans may recall that Harley Quinn appeared briefly in Season 2 of the CW series as part of the roster of Argus prisoners, but the character never resurfaced after that. But actress Willa Holland reveals in a new interview that Quinn was supposed to come back.

"We had big plans for Harley. But, I guess something came down from DC execs that told us to shut it down," the actress revealed at the MCM London. "I mean we had that tease with the pigtails and the ARGUS outfit but, we’ll never see it. We would love to Harley in Arrow but it will never happen."

In other Arrownews, the Season 3 finale aired last week, and fans are anxiously awaiting Season 4. And because it's never too early to start speculating, let's take a look at the following, which comes from the "Ask Ausiello" column at TVLine:

Question: Too soon to ask about Arrow Season 4? —Rae
Ausiello: Theoretically, it’s way too soon. But in actuality, maybe not. Because when showrunner Marc Guggenheim told us that they knew at this time last year that Malcolm would wind up as the new Ra’s, we of course had to ask if they could tease the plan for next May’s finale. 'The funny thing is I could,' the EP told Matt Mitovich, 'because we are in the writers’ room right now working on the plan for Season 4. And though we don’t always start with where we’re going to end, where we’re going to end is an important part of our conversation. And the room today generated, I think, a potential ending that is very, very interesting. But the first step in surprising all of you is surprising us.'

In related news, fans have already been theorizing that the Green Lantern would appear somehow on either Arrow, The Flash, or the spinoff DC's Legends of Tomorrow. The evidence is mounting, as Oliver and Felicity drove off down the coastline in a strong hint that they were headed for Coast City, the hometown of the superhero. Second, we saw in the flashbacks that Oliver sees a boat headed for Coast City, and it's implied that he gets on that boat. Third, Barry Allen mentioned on the penultimate episode of The Flash that a test pilot from Ferris Air went missing. This seems to be a reference to Hal Jordan, one of the Green Lanterns.
