The latest round of WWE rumors deals with Elimination Chamber, Rusev and Lana, Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, and Ric Flair, so let's get right to it. As always, these are just rumors, so please treat them as such.

Word on the street is that WWE has some sort of major surprise planned for the Elimination Chamber live event this Sunday night on the WWE Network, but it's unclear at the moment what that could be. Start speculating now.

Next, WWE is reportedly planning to just drop the pro-Russian gimmick for Rusev and Lana with no explanation whatsoever. This isn't entirely surprising given WWE's history with handling its characters, and it also wouldn't be shocking if they just drop their accents entirely.

Kevin Owens has been receiving a huge push since his arrival into WWE's NXT brand in December, a fact proven by his match with John Cena this Sunday and his current lengthy run as NXT Champion. Rumors say this push is no coincidence, as Owens has numerous supporters within WWE and the company apparently has big plans for him going forward.

As for Owens' latest enemy, Samoa Joe, it seems that WWE wants to wait to see how he does in NXT before they consider calling him up to the main roster.

Finally, Ric Flair reportedly wants to be a manager on screen in WWE, according to a new interview.

"I would love that!" Flair told Tom Feaheny. "I have been waiting on that for two years, but I don't anticipate that happening now. If it hasn't happened yet... And I understand that. They have so many young guys and people they want to get established, so I have no problem with that either. I would like that but I don't think that's going to happen either."
