2K Sports' 'NBA 2K16' Offers Pre-Order Bonuses Before Official September Release Date!

After riding high of the sports videogame, NBA 2K15, 2K Sports is hoping to ride of its success with their latest edition. Pre-order bonuses are already being offered to gamers for the upcoming NBA 2K16 before arriving in stores on the official September release date.

According to IGN, gamers who pre-order NBA 2K16 will be able to play the game four days in advance. With the pre-orders, players will receive 10,000 VC (virtual currency). Current-gen and PC versions will receive three MyTEAM Emerald Packs (each with a guaranteed Emerald player). Last-gen players will receive a MyTEAM Gold Booster Pack with a guaranteed Gold player and four additional gold items.

The game will boast three different covers, featuring Stephen Curry of Golden State, James Harden of Houston, and Kevin Durant of Oklahoma City.

A source close to Polygon reports that the Oscar-nominated filmmaker, Spike Lee (Do The Right Thing), who happens to also be a well-known New York Knicks fan, will possibly have a role developing NBA 2K16's career mode.

We previously mentioned, sports personality Rachel A DeMita hosts NBA2K TV, a live TV show within the videogame. DeMita provides gamers with updates and conduct interviews with the top NBA stars.

As we mentioned before, Pharrell Williams also contributed to the soundtrack as the music curator for NBA 2K15. Lorde, Lauryn Hill, and Public Enemy are just a few of the popular artists who have been added to the track list. We are anxious to find out who will be the music curator for this latest edition.

NBA 2K16 will be available on PlayStation, Xbox One, and PC on September 29.
