Chris Farley Documentary [VIDEO] Debuts Aug. 10 on Spike Following ‘SNL’ Star’s Death

It's possible that Chris Farley was one of the funniest people to have ever graced the Saturday Night Live stage. Naturally, when he passed away back in 1997, the world was rocked––especially the world of comedy. Now, however, it seems that there's a new documentary about the comedy legend titled I Am Chris Farley, and it will debut on Spike this coming Aug. 10.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Virgil Films has acquired the rights to the film. The documentary not only shows footage of the comedic actor but also holds various interviews with the likes of some of Farley's closest SNL friends, including: Adam Sandler, David Spade and Mike Myers.

EW notes that following the premiere on Aug. 10, the film will be released on-demand on Aug. 11.
