President Obama Supports Caitlyn Jenner's Transformation: "It Takes Courage To Share Your Story"

If no one else supports Bruce Jenner's transformation into a woman named Caitlyn Jenner, at least she has the support of President Obama.

According to TIME, Jenner is a Repulican, but that didn't stop the President from sending out a tweet in support of the former Olympian's decision to finally release her new look.

MStars News previously reported that Jenner's first image as a woman went public on the July issue of Vanity Fair this Monday.

The magazine wrote: "Our July cover star Caitlyn Jenner kinda broke the Internet today. Photograph by Annie Leibovitz. #CallMeCaitlyn" After the first photo of Caitlyn went viral, critics, fans and people who have watched the Kardashians for years on E! had something to say about Jenner's new change. "It takes courage to share your story," President Barack Obama wrote on his Twitter account, following Jenner's tweet that read: "I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me."

In addition to showing support, Mr. Obama also encouraged people to open up about their own stories in the fight for LGBT rights at the Organizing for Action website.

Despite Obama's support, there were some who thought Jenner was a disgrace to his own family.

But others had nothing but love, and were inspired by Jenner's new look.

elisazouzab @johncody23 just because to are born with a sex gender (female or male) once a person is transformed they aren't that anymore, do some research on transgender gender identity it would help
