Earlier this month, Rihanna was spotted on an early morning breakfast date with soccer "crush," Karim Benzema. RiRi was caught flirting with the Real Madrid hottie on Twitter just last year during the World Cup. So, did the "Diamonds" songstress finally snag herself a sexy professional athlete (from Europe)?
Karim Benzema - who is he?
- French footballer described as an "immensely talented striker... strong and powerful [and] a potent finisher from inside the box."
- In April 2010, Benzema was involved in a "prostitution ring" scandal in Paris. He was later indicted on the charge of "solicitation of a minor prostitute."
- He has one child with longtime (ex) girlfriend, Chloe de Launay. Daughter Melia was born in February 2014.
- In August 2014, Benzema signed a new five-year deal with the popular Spanish soccer club. He's contracted to play with the team until 2019.
- Benzema made his debut at the FIFA World Cup in June 2014 as a member of France's squad. The team was later knocked out by Germany in the quarter final stage of the tournament.

Perhaps the "FourFiveSeconds" songstress still has strong underlying feelings towards ex-boyfriend, Drake? The former "Take Care" lover has yet to post an cryptic heartbreak messages on Instagram, despite rumors that he's still trying to win the Barbadian beauty back for good. Wonder if Chris Brown cares, or is the hip-hop superstar too focused on Karrueche Tran?
