Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart UPDATE: 'Most Eligible Bachelor' Designing Engagement Ring for 'Twilight' GF? Marriage Rumors 'Not True'

Although Robert Pattinson reigns supreme in yet another "most eligible bachelor" poll (right there next to Prince Harry), rumors have it that the handsome 26-year-old actor is currently designing an engagement ring for his "Twilight" costar and on-and-off again girlfriend, Kristen Stewart. Pattinson has since forgiven the 22-year-old's highly-publicized summer affair with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, and reports have it that the couple is indeed going very strong. So is the duo truly ready to follow in the footsteps of their "Twilight" counterparts Edward and Bella - is marriage in the foreseeable future? Many other reputable sources point to "no way."

A report in Ok! magazine exclaims - "Robert Pattinson is hard at work creating the perfect engagement ring for his 'Twilight' love, Kristen Stewart, even though she's not pressing him for something spectacular!"

Even so, fans should take what they read with a grain of salt (OK! isn't the most reliable gossip tabloid around... it's the same publication that claims the couple has a secret two-year-old son somewhere). The magazine also recently reported about R-Patz and K-Stew's impending wedding:

"They're split between [getting married] in England or somewhere totally remote and tropical. Before the cheating scandal, the plan was always a wedding near Rob's home in the U.K. But now, some of his family and friends are not so keen on Kristen, so she's not really into that. Still, his mom always wanted him to have a very traditional church ceremony with a big fancy reception and Rob and Kristen have agreed that they're willing to do it to make her happy -- as long as the family can truly forgive Kristen."

Reps have since debunked OK!'s marriage rumors as "fantasy and nothing more."

Now the gossip mag has an inside source claiming, "Kristen is not the type to wear anything too fancy. But Rob wants something that makes a statement, which means he's got his work cut out finding something that will be original and impressive that she will wear!"

The source continues to explain Pattinson's supposed design of the ring:

"The idea for black diamonds came to him when he was writing a song for Kristen. They are much more rare than regular diamonds, so Rob's really drawn to the symbolism of that because they both feel like their relationship is extremely rare... Rob plans to take his time getting the ring design perfect."

OK! has had zero credibility when quoting these supposed Pattinson and Stewart sources, so the fact that the "engagement ring" report may be totally false wouldn't be very surprising. Another source tells Gossip Cop that the recent report is definitely "not true."

In other R-Patz news, the "Cosmopolis" star was voted as one of the "top dream men to tie the knot with" in a recent "National Wedding Show" most eligible bachelor poll. Justin Bieber came in right behind Pattinson and royal "bad boy" Prince Harry. Pattinson was also named one of Glamour magazine's "Hottest Men" of 2012.

If these engagement ring rumors truly are false, Stewart better watch out - her man is one hot commodity!
