Several fans consider Detroit emcee Eminem the "Elvis of Hip-Hop" - and fellow rapper Noreaga or (N.O.R.E) would definitely agree. Sorry, Jay-Z!

The "Superthug" superstar revealed his thoughts in a recent interview with VladTV:

"Eminem is a king in his own right... He has changed Hip-Hop. He was the first white guy that was like, I'm white."

But he doesn't totally shade Beyonce's hubby:

"I bought more Jay-Z albums than Eminem albums but that's my preference... Eminem is our Elvis and I think we should claim that... Dr. Dre is a genius for having the foresight for that. Jimmy Iovine is a genius for having the foresight for that."

Do MstarsNews readers agree?

Meanwhile, some industry big-names do NOT agree with HOV's recent purchase of Tidal. In fact, 50 Cent's totally confused with that decision (er, mistake):

"Why did Jay-Z actually purchase Tidal? They probably could've did something more exciting if they reached out, because the people you saw there don't even own the rights to their music," the G-Unit hypeman recently explained to Los Angeles' REAL 92.3 . "So they can't say it's gonna come out of Tidal. It has to go everywhere... Why would you actually buy Tidal to get something that would be everywhere else?"

Elvis Presley was a rock 'n' roll legend - so should Shady pursue a similiar passion to mix things up a bit? Some loyal #Stans actually like the idea. But for now, such hype surrounding the 42-year-old lyricist working on a "secret" metal band called Detroit Riot is simply NOT ture...

The new "Rap God" song (not rock) entitled "Phenomenal" is now currently going viral on the web, too:

Some listeners hope that this means Em might release more fresh beats soon, but no confirmation yet.
