'Halt And Catch Fire' Season 2: Episode 2 Spoilers: Will Lee Pace's Joe MacMillan Meet Jacob?

AMC jumps into the gaming world with the Season 2 of Halt And Catch Fire. With the team split up during the first season finale, will Joe MacMillan (Lee Pace) realize he's desperate for money and way in over his head when he meets his father-in-law, Jacob Wheeler (James Cromwell)?

In our recap fo the season premiere, Cameron and Donna are struggling to keep their online gaming business afloat, especially when their electricity is knocking out. Even though Gordon has enough money to support his wife and his kids, his depression and cocaine addiction is starting to take its toll. Though Joe has proposed to his girlfriend, Sarah, he still thinks about Cameron from time to to time.

According to TV Guide, the episode revolves around Joe starting with his new job after meeting Sarah's father, Jacob. Meanwhile, Gordon grapples with his new sense of freedom.Donna is caught off-guard by Cameron's surprising hire at Mutiny.

In an interview with Esquire, Pace describes Joe's mindset, "This isn't natural to Joe. The trauma in his life has made it very difficult to connect with people. So the mountain he is climbing in the second season is authenticity. He's got to earn it. I love that the story is structured so that you don't end in the first episode kind of finding Joe a changed person. You find Joe working on something, which is a serious relationship with someone else, with Sara, and trying to figure the next thing out, whatever the next thing is going to be."

The Pushing Daisies actor dishes on working with the Oscar winner, "I mean, it is a total treat to get to work with James Cromwell. I enjoyed every minute I had on set with him. He has got the most incredible stories. He's got such an interesting, professional approach to the work. I just enjoyed working with him so much. And I like the relationship between those two guys. I mean, James Cromwell is-God, what a guy."
