Newtown School Shooting: Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys, Justin Bieber, Rihanna and More Celebrities Mourn the Death of Innocent Victims

The murderous shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, left 26 people dead.Twenty of them were children who were between the ages of five and ten. The horrifying massacre of children was a vengeful act by a 20-year-old. He was reportedly armed to teeth with semiautomatic pistols and a semiautomatic rifle.

Many music artistes and Hollywood celebrities have taken to  Twitter to mourn and express their grief.

Here are what they had to say:

Rihanna: God have mercy!!!! No one deserves this! Praying for the families of the victims of the Connecticut shooting!! What a Christmas it will be.

Alicia Keys: My heart is so heavy right now as I think of these innocent children, teachers, their families and community.....

Lil Wayne: Prayers for those in Connecticut...senseless.

Justin Timberlake: So saddened by this horrific tragedy in CT. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and all of those affected by it. Hug a loved one.

Kim Kardashian: In total shock over the school shooting in Ct! 18 children shot dead & 9 adults by a father of one of the kids! What has this world come to.

Pink: I am absolutely devastated. My prayers and my heart go out to those parents and families affected by this tragedy. I know words aren't enough.
