Mary Ellen Trainor ‘Lethal Weapon’ Star Dead at 62 from Pancreatic Cancer

It’s being reported that Mary Ellen Trainor, who famously starred in the Lethal Weapon films as well as The Goonies, has died at the age of 62 from pancreatic cancer. The actress was married to director Robert Zemeckis for 20 years and had roles in a number of his films, including Forrest Gump and Romancing the Stone.

TMZ is reporting on Trainor’s unfortunate death. Take a look at some videos of her work below:

Following her death, a number of star’s took to Twitter to express their condolences. Here's a tweet by Clerks and Mallrats writer-director-star Kevin Smith.

Trainor reportedly started her career back in an episode of Cheers in 1983. In Lethal Weapon, she played psychiatrist Stephanie Woods, and would go on to appear in all four versions of the film.

Furthermore, she held roles in the likes of Scrooged, Back to the Future Part II, Die Hard, and more.
