After what could be seen as the performance of his career (so far), Cleveland Cavaliers star guard Matthew Dellavedova was rushed to the hospital for "sever cramps" following his team's game three win over the Golden State Warriors during the 2015 NBA Finals. Racking up some career-high stats this week, Dellavedova wowed the home crowd by making Stephen Curry and the Warriors look like amateurs, helping LeBron James and the Cavaliers take the lead in the finals. Unfortunately, this came at a price and the Australian guard had to seek professional help for some pain he suffered after, and probably during, the game. Read more on this news below.

According to a new report from Yahoo Sports, Dellavedova did not speak to reporters after his impressive game, but headed straight to the hospital to deal with these "severe cramps" that he had been experiencing. From what we can gather, these cramps popped up after the guard hustled his heart out during the game three victory he was instrumental in securing. Other than that, we can expect an update from Cavaliers coach David Blatt.

"He plays as hard as he can every day," the coach told the press after the game, according to ESPN. "He plays right. He's not afraid. He plays courageously. And everybody on his team has his back. It's not an issue of confidence. He is going to give you whatever he has."

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers' poster boy, LeBron James also praised Dellavedova after the win.

"I mean, I know one thing I'm going to count on Delly...is how hard he's going to play," he said. "He's going to give everything he's got. His body, he's going to throw his body all over the place. And he's going to compete at a high level however many minutes he's out on the floor. It was great to have someone like that out on the floor that was willing to sacrifice everything for the better of the team."
