Viewers are just weeks away from the highly anticipated Season 5 premiere of the sci-fi action drama, Falling Skies on TNT. Before it's June premiere, audiences want to know if Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) and Anne Glass (Moon Bloodgood) will survive during the final 10 episodes?

In the upcoming fifth season, the breed of the beast and mutants are running rampant on Earth. The Espheni's power source has been unplugged. After four years of being tortured, imprisoned and mutated, and having their loved ones stolen from them, the 2nd Mass is ready to fight with the enemy. This will be an all-out battle to determine the fate of Earth and the human race.

The ER actor reveals to TV Line what awaits Tom, "It's so rare that you get to script your own ending, so we saw that as a privilege - like, 'OK, let's make sure that we cross all of our Ts and dot all our Is and explain how this whole thing started.'"

Wyle hopes the farewell run is "hopefully a satisfying one," and adds, "We tried to answer all the questions, to unravel all the mythology, and make it as satisfying an ending for the audience as it was for [the cast] to get our own sense of closure."

In an interview with Three If By Space, the Terminator Salvation actress reveals Anne's mindset after losing her children, her son and now Lexi, "That was really hard. After I had my own child it became harder to play and became much more emotional for me to act out. I think it permeates Anne's relationship with Tom and affects the entire relationship. My character has to make peace with Lexi's death and I think I can say that she comes back in the form of a ghost to Anne (in her head)."

The fifth season of Falling Skies premieres June 28, 2015 on TNT.

As we previously mentioned, the fourth season of Major Crimes has already begun on TNT.
