The third season of the NBC's TV reality show, "The Voice" has a winner. 23-year-old Cassadee Pope has been crowned as the winner in the reality show. She will take home $100,000 and a deal with Universal Records.

The other two contestants, Scottish rocker Terry McDermott and Nicholas David came in close second and third respectively, MTV News reported.

The votes that were cast for the finale were the highest in the history of the show.

The finale however was packed with performances from Rihanna, Smokey Robinson, Peter Frampton and Bruno Mars. Rihanna opened the show with her single, "Diamond" and Bruno Mars debuted his new single "When I Was Your Man."

The competition marked three months of intense competition including blind auditions, battle rounds, knockouts, live performances and tributes.

"I don't know [what to say]," said Pope, who was stunned by the verdict. "I feel amazing. Thank you to everyone who voted for me. Thank you Blake, the producers, hair and makeup, Carson, the band, Christina, thank you so much!"

"I was nervous to step out on my own and this experience made me feel like I could do it. All four of you [judges] have made me feel like I could do it. Thank you."

This is Blake Shelton's second win as a coach. Pope was coached by him, while David came third.

The final three contestants got an opportunity to perform with some of the biggies in the music industry. David shared stage with Smokey Robinson for a duet of "Cruising." Pope performed with The Killers who performed their new single "Here With Me."

The competition came to an end with the performance of all four "Voice" coaches - Green, Christina Aguilera, Shelton and Adam Levine, who sang Green Day's "Time Of Your Life,"
