Jamie Sangouthai Dead, Lamar Odom's BFF Heroin Overdose Death Shocks Twitter: #RIP Tributes After Khloe Kardashian 'Cocaine Binge' Blast

Reports confirm that Lamar Odom's former "best friend" Jamie Sangouthai died from an apparent heroin overdose earlier this month. Back when Odom was married to reality starlet Khloe Kardashian, friends initially blamed Sangouthai for the NBA superstar's disturbing "crack binge."

The popular gossip webloid TMZ confirms that Sangouthai passed away at a hospital in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday (June 14). According to law enforcement sources, an unidentified caller contacted 911 earlier that day. The 37-year-old was once featured on E!'s hit series "Khloe and Lamar" - the show highlighted Sangouthai's issues with drug abuse.
