Katt Williams Slap: Comedian Hit Target Employee for Calling him the 'N-Word' [VIDEO]

Popular rapper and comedian Katt Williams has found himself in some major trouble lately - a high-speed motorcycle chase, harassing people at a sports bar, not performing at packed venues... oh, and recently slapping a Target employee straight across the face at a store in California. But at a recent performance at the Comedy Store in Hollywood, the former "Wild n'Out" star attempts to explain his rash and inappropriate actions, at least concerning the Target employee slap. Apparently the young man working behind the register called Williams the "n-word," ultimately forcing the 39-year-old funny man to take (physical) action against the disrespectful racial slur.

Just moments after Williams was pursued by police for manically riding his three-wheeled motorcycle on the wrong side of the road near California's state capitol building on Sunday, Nov. 25, the comedian was spotted checking-out at a local Target - and apparently he wasn't too happy with his shopping experience.

At first things appeared to be going just fine - Williams stopped to snap a few photos and sign autographs for fans. But just minutes later, Target surveillance cameras caught the 'Wild n' Out' host getting into a heated confrontation with a young employee, where Williams ends up slapping the unsuspecting worker straight across the face. The video footage offers no audio, so it remains unclear exactly what the argument was about. Even so, the employee did not appear to want and get into any sort of physical scuffle (at one point he defensively put his hands on his chest). But Williams hit himin the face and then promptly stormed out of the store in an electric cart.

An eye-witness posted a YouTube video last week which recorded the events right after the pimp slap occurred... the man behind the camera is heard exclaiming, "He just got slapped!" Williams and the Target employee continue talking for a few seconds before Williams attempts his getaway on an electric cart. The young worker (who came out unhurt in the ordeal) then gets on his cellphone and allegedly calls the police. Sources confirm that in the parking lot Williams ditched his cart for his three-wheeled motorcycle and rode off before police arrived.

Now Williams is claiming that the physical altercation had nothing to do with dissatisfaction over his Target purchases... the comedian told an audience in Hollywood on Wednesday evening (Dec. 19):

"This is what the dude at Target said ... 'Your assistant is already suing you, you p##sy a## ni##er."

Wow.

It's true that William's assistant is suing him for a whopping $5 million for allegedly punching her (Williams hitting someone, no way!). But that doesn't give the right for the Target employee (Forrest Liebenberg) to verbally insult him (which is why Williams then flipped out):

"Did you just say the n-word in front of Katt Williams?" Williams continues to explain to the crowd. Allegedly Liebenberg then answered with, "You say it all the time."

Williams then exclaimed, "Say it again and see what happens!" before punching the guy square in the face.

Oh, and Liebenberg was promptly fired from his position at Target after the ordeal... the company wouldn't release any information as to why.
