The Warriors previously defeated the Rockets the Western Conference Finals while the Cavs swept the Eastern Conference series against the Hawks.

Both Games 1 and 2 of the finals excitingly went into overtime. The Warriors snagged a massive Game 1 win, while the Cavaliers pulled a huge Game 2 victory. The Cavs also claimed Game 3, but Golden State won Games 4 and 5. If the Warriors win Game 6 tonight, the team will be named 2015 NBA champs. If not, the series will finally end in Game 7 on Friday (June 19).

According to 19 Action News sports analyst Rick Fargo

The Cavaliers must protect their home floor and win tonight to force a Game 7 in Oakland. The winner of Game 5, when tied 2-2, goes on to win the title 71% of the time. LeBron James is confident that his team can force a Game 7. After the Game 5 loss, LeBron said, "I feel confident because I'm the best player in the world." James is averaging 36.6 points, 12.4 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game in the NBA Finals.
The Warriors struggled after Kyrie Irving went down in Game 1. They did not reach the century mark in Game 2 or 3. They figured it out in Game 4 and 5 when they switched up their starting lineup and went small by starting Andre Iguodala over Andrew Bogut. Since the move, the Warriors have scored over 100-points. The Cavs have faced adversity all playoffs with Kevin Love going down in the opening series, then Kyrie Irving going down in the Finals. The close out game is the hardest game to win, especially in the Finals. The one thing that is helping the Cavs is the NBA Finals experience from LeBron James, Mike Miller and James Jones, they know about all about close out games. On the other side, the Warriors have no players who have been in this position before.

The game will be broadcasted live on local sports channel ABC, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WTAM 1100100.7 WMMSWNSR, and ESPN 92.9
