According to Gamma Squad, the creator of the popular graphic novel and TV series, Robert Kirkman has been promoting this new video game release, hyping up gamers around the world. Now we have our first great look at some gameplay to hold us over for its 2016 release date.

"We're happy to announce that we are acquiring the team at InfinitEye as well as their technology," an official announcement from OVERKILL stated this week. "This is exactly why we're excited to announce Project StarVR, our Virtual Reality initiative. The hardware expertise of InfinitEye together with our rich history of making games allows us to take a broad approach to VR. Together, we are able to produce both software and hardware for VR and are therefor in control of the whole process. What does this mean? Yes, it means that OVERKILL's The Walking Dead will be coming to Virtual Reality. For those attending E3, we will have a prequel experience available for you to play in virtual reality."

Zombies are terrifying, but just imagine being immersed in a video game full of them? That's pretty much what this new trailer feels like. Check it out right here:
