Rapper Nicki Minaj slams her ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels for not "uplifting" her while they were together in a cryptic Instagram post.

Tuesday, the rapper re-posted a post from Rihanna's bestie, Melissa Forde, "Fellas ... Don't expect a real lady to hold you down, if you can't be a real man and lift her up."

Recently, Safaree's ex-girlfriend, Sophia Body slammed the "It Is What It Is" rapper for playing victim during his split with the YMCMB rap star.

In an interview with Nine7TV, Sophia said dating Nicki's former hype-man was one of the worst experiences of her life, "It was good at first and then it turned out to be the worst involvement that I've ever been involved in, in my life." She explained that her name was dragged through the mud by Nicki Minaj fans, "My name was very clear, very good, amongst the industry, amongst people... it had its flaws here and there but it wasn't like it is now. I just believe that the interview I did with VladTV, it was during my involvement with Safaree and I believe that everything that happened during that time of my life was just very negative. Their involvement was just very negative."

During her VladTV interview, the vixen revealed that she was told by Safaree that he wrote Nicki Minaj's raps, "He did tell me that." She added, "You know what's really funny about Safaree, is that he always tries to play the victim and play off his entire career now off of how bad Nicki hurt him or how bad she's treated him and I kind of believed it in the beginning, but now he's trying to play victim of what he's done to me. And then he commented or tweeted that he wrote for Nicki and then a day later he tweets that 'No, I didn't write for Nicki' so it's like who are you?"
