This year the Golden State Warriors put to bed a more than 40-year NBA Championship drought and they did it off the back of MVP Steph Curry. On Tuesday at the Quicken Loans Arena, the Warriors won in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. Lebron James and the Cavaliers couldn't take down the juggernaut that was Golden State and in the end the final score was 105 - 97.

After the Warriors big win against the Cavs, Finals MVP Andre Iguodala made some post-championship plans with Curry. Those plans don't involve Disney World.

"When we won, I'm yelling at Steph, 'We're going to Augusta!'" Iguodala was quoted as saying in ESPN. "You know how everybody goes to Disneyland? We're going to Augusta."

This year the Warriors won 67 games so them bringing home a championship shouldn't be all that surprising. The only surprise in all of this was that Iguodala, a player who wasn't even a starter during the regular season, became the Finals MVP. With that, the team now has a tag-team of MVP's between he and Curry.

Coach Steve Kerr says the reason for their new championship reign is because of their defense. The Warriors boasted the number one defense in the league.

"We had the No. 1 defense in the league. We had the highest scoring team in the league. We were No. 1 in assists. We were no. 1 in field-goal percentage defense. When you get that combination, then you're going to be pretty good," Kerr told ESPN later in the same interview.

It was that great defense which shut down the star Lebron James. James averaged 36 points in the series but he did that in 196 shots. Iguodala covering James has everything to do with him only shooting 30 percent. As a matter of fact, 13 of the 21 turnovers in the series were due to Iguodala.

"My mind was working so many ways," Iguodala Told ESPN. "Like: 'What's going to happen if you win? What's going to happen if you lose? How do you approach the game starting? Do you come out firing? Do you let it just come to you?"
